When he went into retirement after decades of hard work and development, it looked like the end of this unique instrument. But then he met Günther Lerch, who inspired him never to give up the business and dedicate the rest of his life to accordion manufacturing. This project required months of work in the field of accordion body and voice engineering under the direction of Hans Lapper and Günther Lerch.
Today we can say that with the new Alpengold team (see photos) this unique instrument will emerge stronger than ever under the LL (Lapper&Lerch) quality label.
